Why 3 Bridges?
The 3 Bridges project is a Blended Intensive Programme. This kind of programme is an innovation supplied by Erasmus+ and implemented for the very first time by the three Higher Education Partner Institutions : the Rotterdam Business School, the Porto Accounting and Business School from the Polytechnic Institut de Porto et le lycée Brémontier de Bordeaux.
the name « 3 Bridges » was chosen in reference to the symbolic works of our 3 cities, and also to the characteristics of the 3 missions on which the student teams worked. They are bridges between environment and economic activity, between tradition and technical innovation and between different cultures:
3 Bridges, which achievements?
Throughout the year, around twenty students from 4 classes of BTS worked with their Dutch and Portuguese Teammates in order to respond to missions entrusted by partner companies.
- How to develop wine exports to the Netherlands on behalf of Château de Reignac, in Saint Loubès
- How to apply the concepts of the circular economy to the valorization of a resource such as duckweed for the Dutch start-up Flip the city
- How to reconcile the productivity of collaborative work and compliance with the GDPR with the services offered by IBOO, a startup from the Pays de Loire.
- A fourth team is responsible for building bridges between the members of the 3 Bridges project and external partners. The team also manages communication and coordination between partner institutions and student teams.
